Alabama Power Selects Contractors, Moves Ahead with Pollution-Control Project
SUGAR LAND--April 15, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Alabama Power Company (Birmingham, Alabama), a subsidiary of The Southern Company (NYSE:SO) (Atlanta, Georgia), has selected National Steel City LLC (Birmingham) as the general contractor for the installation of particulate-control equipment at units 8-10 of the William Crawford Gorgas Power Station, which is located in Parrish, Alabama.
