Scotland Bets Big on Offshore Wind

GALWAY, IRELAND--October 14, 2014 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) Scotland has given the green light to four offshore windfarm projects with the potential to supply enough power to more than 1.4 million homes.

Energy Minister Fergus Ewing announced that permission has been granted to four projects - Neart Na Gaoithe, Inch Cape Offshore Limited, Seagreen Alpha and Seagreen Bravo - all located in the Forth and Tay region.
