Nigeria Boosts Local Vehicle Assembly to Increase GDP
JOHANNESBURG--October 20, 2014--Written by Richard Finlayson, Senior International Editor for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--In a development that would add significantly to Nigeria's manufacturing base, 23 companies have signed commitments with technical partners to assemble autos, mini-buses, pickups, buses and trucks in Nigeria. These initiatives were made under the country's new Automotive Industry Development Plan (NAIDP).
