New York Lifts Ban on Gas Storage
GALWAY, IRELAND--February 3, 2015 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) After a 41-year ban, New York has adopted regulations to allow for the construction of storage facilities for liquefied natural gas (LNG).
The new regulations were announced by Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Commissioner, Joe Martens, and cover fuelling and storage facilities for LNG in New York state.
