China Plans to Build Over 30 GW of Wind Power in 2016

BEIJING--March 28, 2016--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Beijing, China)--In 2016, a total of 30.83 gigawatts (GW) of wind power projects in 22 Chinese provinces will be approved nationwide. Such provinces include Henan, which ranks at the top with 3.5 GW, followed by Shandong (3.3 GW), Hunan (2.6 GW), Guizhou (2.1 GW), Yunnan (2 GW) and Shaanxi (2 GW), according to the National Wind Power Development Scheme 2016 as published by the National Energy Administration (NEA) last week.
