China's Power Consumption Up 2.6% in June 2016

BEIJING--July 18, 2016--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Beijing, China)--China's social power consumption reached about 492.5 billion kilowatt-hours this month (kWh), according to the National Energy Administration (NEA), an increase of 2.6% from the same period of last year, which was 0.5 percent points higher than the previous month. From January to June 2016, China's accumulative social power consumption reached about 2,775.9 billion kWh, an increase of 2.7% from last year, while the growth in the same period of 2015 was up 1.3%.
