SUGAR LAND--August 26, 2016--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Invenergy Wind LLC will have added a total of 377 megawatts (MW) to the Texas electrical power grid by this fall. A duo of wind energy projects in Floyd and Howard counties will combine to generate renewable energy for their respective regions. The 120-MW Gunsight Mountain Windfarm in Floyd County just went online earlier this month, and the 257-MW Wake Windfarm in Howard County is expected to be online by October 2016.
