DOE Seeks Input on Hydropower Development

SUGAR LAND--November 11, 2016--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) will issue a request for information (RFI) for public input on hydropower development for undeveloped dams and streams. It also is seeking input on potential funding opportunities to support the research and development of advanced hydropower technologies. Industrial Info is tracking 51 hydro-pumped storage capital projects in North America valued at $56.5 billion, with 38 of these being grassroot projects valued at $54.2 billion.
