SUGAR LAND--February 22, 2017--Written by John Egan for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--More than a dozen companies exhibiting at the Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) annual conference and exposition in Denver, Colorado, this week told Industrial Info they were cautiously optimistic that 2017 would be a better year than 2016. But most providers of equipment and services were guarded: They noted the recent uptick in commodity prices for iron ore, but noted other commodities, like copper, still fetch low prices.
