New York Seeks Renewable Energy Proposals

SUGAR LAND, TEXAS--June 21, 2017--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--In order to meet the New York's clean energy standard target of 50% by 2030, the state has issued a request for proposals (RFP) of $1.5 billion for major renewable energy projects, including fuel cell projects. The RFP is being managed by the New York Power Authority (NYPA) and the New York State Energy and Research Development Authority (NYSERDA). The solicitation focuses on large utility-scale renewable generation projects and will consider factors, such as technology diversity, local economic benefits and the ability of the facility to produce during peak load times.
