Cheniere Raises Earnings Guidance for 2017 as LNG Exports Grow

SUGAR LAND--August 9, 2017--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Cheniere Energy Incorporated (NYSE:LNG) (Houston, Texas) reported on Tuesday a net loss of $285 million for the second quarter of this year, compared with a net loss of $298 million for the same period a year earlier, but raised its earnings guidance for 2017 year amid growing liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports. Year to date, LNG from Cheniere's Sabine Pass liquefaction facility and terminal in Cameron, Louisiana, has been delivered to 10 new countries.
