Alstom Joins Troubled Polish Power Project

GALWAY, IRELAND--November 11, 2013 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) French engineering firm, Alstom S.A. (ENX:ALO) (Paris, France), is aiming to get one of Poland's leading power projects off the ground.

The company has agreed to help coordinate the proposed project to build two 900-megawatt (MW) coal-fired units at the Opole power plant in southern Poland, a project that has previously been cancelled.
