Deal Struck at Ireland's Largest Biomass Plant
GALWAY, IRELAND--October 22, 2013 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) Ireland's largest biomass project is moving ahead following the signing of a contract by project developer Alstom for a steam turbine from Danish power plant specialist Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S (BWSC).
BWSC will supply an 18-megawatt (MW) Geared Reaction steam turbine (GRT) for 15.8 MW Evermore Renewable Energy biomass power station being built by BWSC in Northern Ireland.
