EIA: U.S. Shale Gas Production to Decline
April 17, 2024--Written by Daniel Graeber for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--With natural gas prices globally in retreat due in part to warmer weather, U.S. federal estimates point to something of a decline in gas production from the seven primary inland shale basins.
Henry Hub, the U.S. benchmark for the price of natural gas, was trading at around $1.70 per million British thermal units (mmBtu) on Tuesday, continuing from a sharp selloff during the prior trading session.
