E.U. to Help Fix South Stream Gas Fallout

GALWAY, IRELAND--December 23, 2013 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) The European Union (E.U.) has agreed to help the countries involved in the problematic South Stream gas pipeline project negotiate a solution with project developer Russia.

E.U. Energy Commissioner, Günther Oettinger, announced that it will offer to help broker a way forward for the South Stream gas pipeline which involves Russia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia and Austria.
