GALWAY, IRELAND--November 21, 2014 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) Technology giant Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) (Mountain View, California) has agreed to buy up the full output of a new Dutch windfarm for 10 years as it continues its drive toward using increasing amounts of renewable energy to run its operations.

The company said that the 18-turbine, 62.7-megawatt (MW) Delfzijl Noord windfarm which is still under-construction in Northern Netherlands, will power the $750 million data centre it is building in Eemshaven.
