Vattenfall Pumps €727 Million into U.K. Wind Sector

GALWAY, IRELAND--November 7, 2013 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) Swedish energy major, Vattenfall AB (Stockholm, Sweden), has announced plans to invest €727 million ($982 million) in the U.K. wind sector with three new projects.

The company will build an onshore windfarm at Pen y Cymoedd, located in south Wales, near the Neath Port Talbot and Rhondda Cynon Taf.
