BEIJING--May 12, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group) recently began a methanol project worth about $496,000 in Xianyang in Shaanxi Province. The Phase I project is designed to produce 300,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 300,000 tons of methanol, 300,000 tons of calcined soda and 324,000 tons of ammonium chloride every year.
