SUGAR LAND--May 15, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--International Power plc (London) and Endesa S.A.(Madrid, Spain) have formed a joint-venture partnership for the construction of an 830-megawatt (MW) grassroot natural-gas-fired combined-cycle power station to be located in Abrantes, Portugal, northeast of Lisbon near the existing Tejo coal-fired power plant.
