Imports and Exports in China Surpass $1 Trillion in First Five Months of 2008

BEIJING--June 17, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--In the first five months of 2008, China's accumulated imports and exports totaled $1.01 trillion, an increase of 26.2% compared with the same period last year. Exports hit $545.05 billion, up 22.9%, and imports reached $467.03 billion, up 30.4% year over year. An accumulated trade surplus of $78.02 billion was registered.
