SUGAR LAND--September 10, 2008--Reported by Annette Kreuger, Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--It is quite obvious that Massachusetts is determined to support the life science industry within its borders, with the most recent evidence to that fact portrayed by Gov. Deval Patrick signing into law a bill that will direct $1 billion of state funds toward biotechnology and other industries over the next 10 years. Now the state has cast a serious eye to a not-so-sleepy giant, and recognizing the huge potential for economic growth offered in China, it has opened a new trade office in Beijing.
