SUGAR LAND--August 6, 2009--Written by John Egan for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Oil production has surged at century-old oilfields in Wyoming after Anadarko Petroleum (NYSE:APC) (The Woodlands, Texas) began pumping carbon dioxide into the fields as part of an enhanced oil recovery (EOR) project. Anadarko began injecting carbon dioxide into the Salt Creek and Monell oilfields in 2004.
