Fluor Completes First of Two 800-Megawatt Units at Oak Grove Power Station in Texas

SUGAR LAND--January 8, 2010--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Fluor Corporation (NYSE:FLR) (Irving, Texas) has completed the 800-megawatt (MW) Unit 1 and all common facilities for the two-unit complex at Oak Grove Management LLC's new supercritical Oak Grove Power Station, which is near Franklin in Robertson County, Texas. The units are now online, after beginning operations at the end of December 2009. Oak Grove Management LLC is a subsidiary of Luminant Energy Company LLC, which itself is a subsidiary of Energy Future Holdings Corporation (Dallas, Texas).
