SUGAR LAND--June 17, 2010--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Site preparation has begun on CLECO Corporation's (NYSE:CNL) (Pineville, Louisiana) 35-megawatt, General Electric (NYSE:GE) (Fairfield, Connecticut) combustion turbine, which will serve as a black-start unit at the company's Teche Power Station in Baldwin, Louisiana. The unit will provide peaking power as needed to the plant.
