RWE Cancels Polish Coal-fired Power Plant
GALWAY, IRELAND--September 14, 2010--Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland)--German energy giant RWE AG (OTC:RWEOY) (Essen, Germany) has pulled the plug on a proposed 800-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Poland because of the continued global economic downturn and concerns about the future price of carbon emissions in Europe.
