Toppan Printing Responds to Solar Development in Japan
TOKYO, JAPAN--September 29, 2010--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--In response to Japan's solar boom, Toppan Printing Company Limited (TYO:7911) (Tokyo, Japan), known for photomasks, etching products and LCD color filters, has decided to expand its solar backsheet production facilities in the Saitama prefecture. Currently, Toppan Printing's Saitama facility, which is in Fukaya, northwest of Tokyo, has a 1-gigawatt (GW) production capacity of polyvinyl fluoride (PVF) solar backsheets per year.
