Husky Energy Re-evaluates Refinery Projects in Saskatchewan

SUGAR LAND--November 10, 2010--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Husky Energy Incorporated (TSX:HSE) (Calgary, Alberta) is evaluating plans for an ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) project at the company's refinery in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. The company is evaluating options for constructing a new 25,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) diesel hydrotreater and a supporting hydrogen plant to reduce the sulfur content in diesel fuels to less than 10 parts per million. The approval for the project is not expected until early 2012. The construction strategy for the project will be determined after the company gets the go-ahead to proceed.
