Amistco Separation Products and ACS Separations and Mass Transfer Products are pleased to announce a merger of the two companies. The new company, ACS-Amistco (www.acs-amistco.com), will be a leading manufacturer of separation and mass transfer products in its markets.
During the next 12 months, the two companies will work together on the strategic integration of their operations. ACS-Amistco represents an opportunity for two respected, customer-oriented leaders in the separation and mass transfer industry to combine expertise and resources to better serve existing customers and capitalize on expansion opportunities worldwide.
About Amistco Separation Products
Based in Alvin, Texas, Amistco was founded in 1991 by Lee Boyd. Amistco is a manufacturer of highly engineered products and solutions used in separation processes for liquids and gases. The company provides solutions for a wide range of separation and mass transfer applications, including mist eliminators, random and structured packing, fractionation trays and wedge wire screen products.
About ACS Separations and Mass Transfer Products
ACS Separations and Mass Transfer Products is a division of ACS Industries, Inc., which was founded in 1939 by Peter Botvin Sr. and is the world leader in engineered knitted wire mesh solutions. The company entered the separations business in the 1950s, and today, ACS Separations and Mass Transfer Products is a global leader in liquid coalescing units and vapor liquid mist eliminator separation technologies. The company has manufacturing locations in Houston, Texas and Monterrey, Mexico and recently established a presence in Shanghai, China.
