SACL Plans Bio-Refineries Across Australia

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Singapore-based project development company Southern Asian Carbon Limited (SACL) plans to build three bio-refineries across Australia.

SACL has teamed up with Comstock Fuels, a subsidiary of Comstock Incorporated (NYSE:LODE) (Virginia City, Nevada) to use its advanced lignocellulosic refining process to produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable fuels with low carbon intensity.

SACL has identified three sites in Australia, including Portland, Victoria (a planned SAF plant); Moree, New South Wales (a planned bio-methanol production facility and an SAF plant; and Mackay, Queensland (an SAF plant and a co-located biogenic CO2-to-methanol facility.
