Duke Energy to Sell 13 Power Plants Following Rate Hike Rejection
SUGAR LAND--March 19, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Duke Energy Corporation (NYSE:DUK) (Charlotte, North Carolina) has announced it will sell its interest in 13 power plants throughout the Midwest. This includes seven facilities in Greater Cincinnati. Duke says that the sale of these plants will not affect its 1.3 million gas and electricity customers.
