TVA Seeks Public Comment on New Resource Roadmap that Emphasizes Gas, Renewables and Efficiency

SUGAR LAND--March 30, 2015--Written by John Egan for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The Tennessee Valley Authority (NYSE:TVE) (TVA) (Knoxville, Tennessee) has started taking public comments on its draft integrated resource plan (IRP), its roadmap to meet electric demand for the next 20 years. The agency's 172-page report, released March 9, considered five scenarios for future electric load growth across seven southeastern states. Under development for 18 months, the TVA board is expected to vote on a final IRP plan this summer.
