U.S. Approves Pieridae Energy's Plan to Send Domestic Natural Gas to Canada, Export as LNG
SUGAR LAND--May 27, 2015--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Last week, the U.S. Department of Energy (Washington, D.C.) granted Pieridae Energy (USA) Limited (Halifax, Nova Scotia) the right to export up to 292 billion cubic feet per year of natural gas to Canada, where the gas will be processed into liquefied natural gas (LNG) and exported to countries with which the U.S. has entered into a free-trade agreement (FTA).
