China's Investment in Mining Drops 7.1% in First-Quarter 2017

BEIJING--April 18, 2017--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--From January through March 2017, China's investment in mining reached $16.11 billion, a drop of 7.1% year over year, while the growth in the first two months of 2017 was 4.1%. Of this, the investment from the private sector reached $8.75 billion, a decline of 18.6%, according to the National Bureau of Statistics of China.
