China's Power Consumption Rises 9.9% Year-Over-Year in July

BEIJING--August 17, 2017--Researched by Industrial Info Resources China (Beijing, China)--In July 2017, China's power consumption totaled 607.2 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in July, an increase of 9.9% year over year, and 3.4 percentage points higher than in June, the highest level since September, according to China's National Energy Administration (NEA). For the period of January through July this year, accumulative power consumption reached 3,557.8 billion kWh, an increase of 6.9% year over year.
