Australia's Renewable Energy Systems Delays $500 Million Ararat Windfarm Project
PERTH, AUSTRALIA--February 11, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources Australia (Perth, Australia)--Renewable Energy Systems (RES) Australia Pty Limited (New South Wales, Australia) has delayed the $500 million Ararat windfarm power project in Victoria because of uncertainty surrounding regulation of the renewable energy market. RES Australia's head of development, Annette Deveson, said that uncertainty regarding a possible revision in the renewable energy target (RET) was a major factor behind the delay.
