Bids in for Uganda Refinery as President Reports Bonanza of Mineral Resources
JOHANNESBURG--June 17, 2014--Written by Richard Finlayson, Senior International Editor for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--As Uganda's plans for an oil refinery and an East African pipeline network to Kenya's Indian coast gain momentum, the government has earmarked $12.7 million to complete the acquisition of land for the construction of the refinery in Kabaale, Buseruka County, in the Hoima district.
