EDF Spins Scottish Onshore Windfarm

GALWAY, IRELAND--May 21, 2013 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) Renewable energy company EDF Energy Renewables (London, England) has commissioned one of Scotland's largest onshore windfarms on the Lammermuir hills in the Scottish borders.

The Fallago Rig windfarm has a generating capacity of 144-megawatts (MW) from its 48 turbines, enough to power around 90,000 homes.
