Sizewell B Nuclear Cleared for 10 More Years

GALWAY, IRELAND--February 9, 2015 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) The U.K.'s nuclear regulator has cleared the Sizewell B nuclear power plant (NPP) in Suffolk, England, to continue operating for another 10-years.

The plant, which uses the country's only Pressurised Water Reactor (PWR), will now operate until 2025 after passing its periodic 10-year safety assessment.
