Uganda to Invest $500 Million to Double Power Transmission Grid
JOHANNESBURG--October 1, 2013--Written by Richard Finlayson, Senior International Editor for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Uganda plans to invest $500 million in a project that will double the length of its power grid over the next four years. The move upgrades and expands the country's power generation infrastructure in advance of crude oil production, which is scheduled to begin in 2017.
