SUGAR LAND--March 13, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Georgia Power Company (Atlanta, Georgia) shut down the 952-megawatt (MW) Unit 3 at Bowen Power Station in Cartersville, Georgia, after officials discovered the turbine's high-pressure shaft had failed.
