SUGAR LAND--December 20, 2017--Reported by Annette Kreuger, Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Layoffs are always unwelcome news. But there is an added level of poignancy when they are announced during the holiday season. Israeli generic drugmaker Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (NYSE:TEVA) (Tel Aviv) has announced it plans to cut 25% of its global workforce, or an estimated 14,000 jobs.
