SUGAR LAND--January 28, 2019--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The U.S. market for coal production continues to face brutal realities. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), total domestic coal production in 2018 was 755 million short tons, down 2.6% from 2017, and 36% from the previous decade.
