Indonesia to Tender Three Geothermal Working Areas, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources will tender three geothermal working areas with the total capacity of 150 megawatts (MW). The areas are in Southeast Sulawesi, West Java and East Java. Those eligible to participate in the tenders are business entities with experience and scope of works in geothermal, oil and gas, mineral/coal mining or electricity generation. The installed capacity of the geothermal power in Indonesia is 2,003.5 MW, and the country's National Energy General Plan calls for this to be 7,242 MW by 2025.
