EP Petroecuador's 110,000-barrel-per-day Esmeraldas refinery, the largest in Ecuador, is in the final stages of completing a planned maintenance turnaround on the 55,000-barrel-per-day Crude 2, 15,900-barrel-per-day Vacuum 2, and 15,000-barrel-per-day Visbreaker 2 units. The work began on February 9 and represents the first group of units to undergo maintenance as part of the refinery's 2021 program.
