Mexico is expected to see 12 new refined product terminals come online this year

Mexico is expected to see 12 new refined product terminals come online this year. Private entities are contributing to Mexico's energy infrastructure, with more than 7 million barrels of storage capacity for gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and other refined products.
Among the main private investors are Monterra Energy, whose Tuxpan terminal will start operations in March with a capacity of 2.1 million barrels; and IENOVA (a Sempra Energy subsidiary), which has two storage projects under construction in Topolobampo and El Manzanillo.
