Turkey's Wind Power Capacity Grows 36% to 1,799 Megawatts
ISTANBUL, TURKEY--February 20, 2012--Researched by Industrial Info Re-sources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Turkey's newest windfarms, which were established last year, added 470 megawatts (MW) to the country's installed wind power capacity, increasing the total to 1,799 MW, according to the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA).
