A pipeline explosion occurred late Wednesday afternoon at the Lone Star natural gas liquids (NGL) plant in Mont Belvieu, Texas. The explosion occurred when an onsite contractor ruptured a pipeline, according to news accounts. No injuries were reported. Firefighters contained the pipeline leak and let the flames burn out. Industrial Info is tracking three Lone Star storage terminals and an NGL fractionation unit in Mont Belvieu.
