Parts of Two TransCanada U.S. Natural Gas Pipelines Receive FERC Approval to Operate
SUGAR LAND--October 9, 2018--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Last week marked a couple of important milestones for TransCanada Corporation's (NYSE:TRP) (Calgary, Alberta) U.S. natural gas pipeline projects. The U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) gave permission for TransCanada to begin operations on the Western Build section of its WB Xpress natural gas pipeline, then the following day approved part of the company's Mountaineer Xpress natural gas pipeline. Both pipelines will carry natural gas from the Marcellus and Utica shales to other parts of the U.S.
