SUGAR LAND--April 18, 2019--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--U.S. refinery runs (gross inputs to refineries) averaged 17.3 million barrels per day (BBL/d) in 2018, the highest annual average on record and the fifth consecutive year of record-high refinery runs, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). But whether refining runs maintain such levels through this year remains a big question, according to Chris Paschall, Industrial Info's vice president of research for the Refining Industry.
