Indonesia's Fiscal Incentives, Interest Subsidies Will Encourage Renewable Energy Development, an Industrial Info Market Brief
An energy observer from Gadjah Mada University has asked the Indonesian government to provide the development of new renewable energy fiscal incentives, in order to encourage the development and progress of renewable energy projects. The delay in progress is caused by the high rate of coal-fired projects. Another challenge is the difficulty in obtaining loans with low interest rates. Low interest subsidies, such as the Micro Credit Program, may help expedite the development of renewable energy.
